Groveland Days
Every September, Harriett holds office hours at the Groveland Days celebration. Here she got to pose with Laurie and Casey Panaro, as well as Sarah Mini.
Judging cake contest      Judging cake contest
Harriett is usually asked to be a cake judge at the Groveland Days celebration. Here she checks out the prize-winning pizza cake made by the Fudge Brothers and poses with other judges behind the train cake.
   

Patriotism was the theme of Groveland Days 2002, which was the first one held since the events of September 11th. A table displaying old military equipment was especially interesting to some, while the flag theme dominated the cake walk prize table.

Many organizations were represented at Groveland Days. While hundreds enjoyed the festivities in front of Town Hall, dads driving Caterpillar tractors moved wooded pallets into a pile for the evening bonfire..
 

The Bagnall Foundation's petting zoo was really popular with the kids.

Harriett had a word with Rocky the Llama from Harmony Hill Farm.

A Community Committed to Keeping Open Space
Walking through Meadow Pond Save Meadow Pond
Grovelanders walk the Meadow Pond property before making the decision to buy it and add to the "greenbelt" forming between Groveland and Georgetown.
After all the doubt over buying Nun's Hill/Veasey Park, the decision to purchase Meadow Pond was a cinch!

Two seniors enjoy an autumn afternoon at Veasey Park, which Harriett helped the town acquire during her first year as a legislator.
